How to Find Your eSIM's ICCID (and Top Up Any eSIM)
Last updated:
Every eSIM has a unique serial number called the ICCID, and with nadanada it is the key to topping up your data or getting support without ever having an account. This guide explains what it is and where to find it on iPhone and Android.
What the ICCID is
ICCID stands for Integrated Circuit Card Identifier: a 19-20 digit number that uniquely identifies your eSIM profile, exactly like the number printed on a physical SIM card. It typically starts with 89 followed by a country code.
Because nadanada has no accounts (no email, no password, no login), the ICCID is how you reference your eSIM later: topping up, checking status, or getting support. Save it, screenshot your confirmation page, or bookmark it.
Find your ICCID on iPhone
- Settings > General > About
- Scroll to the SIM / eSIM section (you will see one entry per line if you use dual SIM)
- Find the line labeled with your travel eSIM's name
- Long-press the ICCID to copy it
Find your ICCID on Android
Paths vary slightly by brand:
- Stock/Pixel: Settings > About phone > SIM status
- Samsung: Settings > About phone > Status > SIM card status
- Universal shortcut: dial
*#06#, which on many phones lists ICCIDs together with IMEI and EID numbers
Top up without an account
Topping up a nadanada eSIM takes under a minute:
- Click "My Services" or the yellow icon in the right upper section.
- Enter your ICCID (or use the link on your saved confirmation page)
- Pick a data package and pay with crypto or card
- Data lands on your existing eSIM within moments. No QR code, no reinstall, no interruption
This is why buying "a bit short" and topping up beats overbuying: start with the plan that covers your expected use and extend only if you actually run low.
ICCID vs. the other identifiers
| Code | Identifies | When you need it |
|---|---|---|
| ICCID | Your eSIM profile/plan | Top-ups, support, recovery |
| IMEI | Your phone hardware | Carrier unlocks, theft reports |
| EID | Your phone's eSIM chip | Some manual eSIM activations |
| IMSI | Your subscription on the network | You never need it directly |
Lost your ICCID and your confirmation page?
Your phone still knows it. Use the steps above to pull the ICCID from Settings while the eSIM is installed. That number plus your payment reference is enough for nadanada support to locate your plan and help.
